Instant Lounge, Radiolight, Big Bin

Good things come in threes …
In the form of a foldable chair, the Instant Lounge provides temporary seating at exhibitions or outdoor events. When unfolded, the units can be stacked or stored away easily.

The home and garden lamp Radiolight consists of an extension cable connected to an 18W fluorescent tube. A chain of lights can be created by attaching several Radiolights together.

Big Bin is a container for storing clothes or toys. The units can be stacked or assembled into shelves in no time.

Pfeffermühle – pepper mill

The basis of this pepper mill is an elliptical cylinder which invites the user to grasp it. Made of sterling silver, the mill is reminiscent of a convertible sculpture: if the two parts are turned towards one another to grind the pepper seeds, they form new images and the proportions change continuously.

The mill has been developed around a high-quality grinder with a chamber that can be extracted for refilling by turning the mill in the reverse of the direction it is turned when grinding.

Entwurfsbegleiter – mobile stand-up workstation

This stand-up workstation picks up on the idea of a mobile, space-saving piece of furniture that can be used for any type of draft. The support for this wheeled piece of office furniture is constructed of thin sections of stainless steel. The top part is used for writing and comes equipped with a holder for rolls of drafting paper.

To maintain the lightness of the workstation, all of the wooden parts have been built in a sandwich-type process.

Ohne Titel – textiles

The work is made up of 390-minute recording tapes extracted from music cassettes. The tapes of randomly recorded music have been woven into a fine mesh. When the surprisingly soft and warm textiles are in motion, reflections oscillate in many different colors.

Only a slight crackling sound reminds the user of the original function of recording tape. The model can be implemented in either the home textile or the garment sector.

Recording tapes, cotton, polyester
