STATE PRIZE 2004
The Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology awarded the Bavarian State Prize for Young Designers for the 11th time in 2004.
The State Prize was presented to young professionals who had completed their training in industrial or communication design as well as to young professionals in crafts design professions. Three prizes of 7,500 euros each were presented for the best works.
There were 293 applications submitted for preselection. From the 77 works admitted to the main selection process, the jury chose one each from the industrial design, communication design and applied crafts categories. In addition, the jury identified five works for recognition awards and another 26 for the exhibition and the catalogue.
