STATE PRIZE 1996

In 1996, the Bavarian State Prize for Young Designers was awarded for the seventh time to graduates of design institutions in the Federal Republic of Germany and to young designers in crafts professions.

Coming from virtually all of Germany’s renowned educational institutions, the 264 applications submitted for preselection were a representative cross-section of the country’s young design talent. Entries ranged from everyday objects to highly complex technological innovations.
